Event Details
Circling is a practice where the attention of a small group is skilfully focused on an individual. This person gets to feel the impact of being supportively seen by others while also experiencing their honest in-the-moment feelings. The process revolves around connection, understanding and a deep authenticity between people. It involves bringing a greater awareness and appreciation into our connections with others and can be considered a type of relational meditation because of this. It is a paradigm shifting practice that is supported by wide ranging research in how adults learn and develop.
Circling has been called “intersubjective meditation” because the practice calls forth a profound awareness of presence, connection, and aliveness in a group. The Circling Practice Group at Two Arrows Zen meets weekly, on Mondays 6:45 – 8:15 pm. No prior experience is necessary.
New participants are welcome to join during open enrollment periods. For more information and to join, please call Dean, 801-215-9212.An open heart, an open mind, and a sincere curiosity about self and others are all that’s needed to participate.A $10 donation per week, or $30/month Two Arrows Zen monthly membership supports this practice group.
