April 21-28, 2019
Torrey Zendo, 57 South 300 West, Torrey, Utah
Join Diane Musho Hamilton Roshi for Spring Sesshin, an intensive meditation retreat dedicated to the practice of zazen and the expression of wisdom and compassion in all aspects of your life. Spring Sesshin is a retreat over eight days at our Torrey Zendo, in the red rock country of Southern Utah.
Even when not in the meditation hall, participants endeavor to maintain a spirit of quiet and whole-hearted attention at all times — in all forms of practice.
Spring Sesshin with Musho Roshi begins at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 21 and ends at noon, Sunday, April 28. The Spring Sesshin includes two ceremonies, Shukke Tokkudo — the monk’s ordination, and the Jukai ceremony when new practitioners receive the Precepts.
Pre-requisites are familiarity with the Integral work of Ken Wilber, willingness to practice rigorously in a committed Sangha, and at least one prior multi-day meditation retreat. To register for Spring Sesshin you need to be able to participate in all activities and agree to attend the full-week retreat. If you have not completed a multi-day program with us before or have never participated in a Zen Sesshin, please CLICK HERE to request an interview. We will be in touch promptly to discuss your registration.
SPRING SESSHIN REGISTRATION IS OPEN UNTIL APRIL 13, 2019.
Registration includes meals. Lodging is booked separately.
Full-week Registration, Sunday 4/21, 3:00 pm to Sunday 4/28, noon.

TWO ARROWS ZEN SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Scholarships and work-trade in service to the community help us to offer partial tuition reductions to young practitioners and Two Arrows Zen members who are recent graduates, or those with life-stage limited income or long-distance travel costs.
Please consider making a donation at registration to support our scholarship and work-trade practitioners attending Spring Sesshin. All contributions will be applied directly to support all categories of participation and to encourage diversity in our community of practice.
Two Arrows Zen members with life-stage limited income, long-distance travel costs, full-time students or recent graduates, and those under 30 may request to contribute work-trade in service to the community in exchange for partial tuition reduction. Work-trade may include early arrival or late departure to help with set up and closing, as well as extra shifts in addition to the samu period. APPLY FOR WORK-TRADE
